Our Experience At The New Bravo! Pizzeria and Grill
Bravo! Pizzeria and Grill is Niagara Falls newest restaurant and grill located at 5438 Ferry Street just minutes away from Clifton Hill. Their goal is be known for the best wood oven baked pizza in Niagara.
We were driving around the Falls like we do so many Saturday nights when we saw the big bright Bravo! sign and crowd of people on the patio. It sparked our interest so we decided to give it a try. I’m not a big pizza person myself but we were feeling a bit adventurous. There was plenty of free parking which was a plus. Many times you have to park on the street or in paid parking the closer you get the Falls.
We were greeted by a hostess standing outside of the building. After we were seated we found out that that night was actually their second day open. I guess they were really hoping to have a good turn out!
As you can see in the pictures, everything was brand new. A beautiful décor and relaxing atmosphere. I especially loved the lighting – very modern and bright. The music was of a Mediterranean theme.
Our server was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable of the menu – as stated in the menu...
“Inspired by passion for the finer things. We at Bravo! Offer the ultimate dining experience to our guests. A dining menu based on ingredients and a knowledgeable staff guiding guests through the art of pairing, will provide for a Bravo! Experience.”
After taking our drink orders, she brought us a complementary dish of fresh bread, olives and mushrooms with a side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar for dipping.
I decided on the Marinara pizza. It was topped with marinara sauce, roasted garlic and fresh basil. Since there was a list of a-la-carte items, I requested to add mozzarella cheese. Tim ordered the chicken parm dish. After we started eating, we realized that we forgot to take pictures – so, um....here they are!
As you can see from the size, the portions are quite large. I was able to take a few slices home for lunch the next day.
After we finished our meal, a manager (we figured) came and asked us how our meal was. He also wanted to know what they could improve. We are not used to this happening, so we were a little caught off guard! He said that they just finished four months of renovations. It was nice that they valued our opinion and were trying to do everything they could to improve the restaurant overall.
We were pleasantly surprised when our bill came to just under $40. This included both our meals, about three soft drinks each and taxes. I thought it was pretty reasonable for a night out. The menu advertised over 70 different beers from 28 countries and a full wine selection. I think the bill could have been quite abit more if we had alcohol.
If you’re staying close to the Falls, I would definitely recommend you try Bravo! Restaurant and Grill. The large menu selection, great service and attention to detail makes them a great choice for your next night out!
