The Niagara Falls CAA Winter Festival of Lights is proud to announce the newest wintertime Niagara Falls attraction – TD RINK at the Brink will operate from December 1, 2010 to February 28, 2011. Like the rink at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City but even more dramatic, the TD RINK at the Brink is an open-air, outdoor ice skating facility situated a snow ball's throw from the “brink” of the Horseshoe Falls, offering breathtaking views and a magical outdoor Niagara Falls ice skating experience.
So whether you’re creating lifelong memories on a Christmas family vacation or out for a romantic winter afternoon with a special someone, the TD RINK at the Brink is a captivating experience – skating just steps away from one of the most magnificent natural attractions in the world. It’s sure to be a favourite among wintertime Niagara entertainment for years to come.
The CAA Winter Festival of Lights’ TD RINK at the Brink offers recreational ice skating, skate, helmet and locker rentals, as well as Learn to Skate programs for groups and individuals and a 3-on-3 Pond Hockey League.
It’s a novel idea for team-building excursions, corporate holiday parties, birthdays, group functions and school outings.
Located adjacent to Table Rock Centre along the Niagara Parkway, the TD RINK at the Brink’s location near the brink of the Horseshoe Falls offers magnificent views of both the American and Horseshoe Falls, along with nighttime views of the illuminated Falls and the weekly fireworks performances held during the CAA Winter Festival of Lights.
The TD RINK at the Brink is close to amenities (Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, Elements on the Falls Restaurant, Niagara’s Fury) located within Table Rock Centre and conveniently abuts the large Fallsview parking lot. The TD RINK at the Brink is refrigerated and thereby not dependent upon cold weather conditions for ice making.
