What's Going on in Niagara Falls during the month of December 2012
As winter months go, December has to be one of the most exciting in Niagara Falls. It's the month of Christmas holidays, Ice skating at the Brink of the Falls and Canada's largest outdoor New Years Eve party.
TD Rink At The Brink
When:November 28, 2012 to February 28, 2013. Where: Rink at the Brink is located across from Table Rock Welcome Centre. Cost: Prices Vary ($5.00 to $7.00)
The TD Ice Rink at the Brink is one of the most unique skating rinks anywhere. It is a large outdoor public skating rink located across from the Falls with views of both the Horseshoe and American Falls.
During night skating, enjoy the beautiful views of the falls illumination as they change colour throughout the evening.

Wreck the Halls: QCRG Holiday Smash
When:Saturday, December 15, 2012 Where:The Forvm
4224 Maple Road Amherst, NY 14226. Cost: Free
Fans, friends and family are welcome to make merry with their favorite skaters and officials for a night of drinks, dancing and holiday cheer. Attendants are encouraged to come dressed as a favorite holiday character. Events will include pictures with Santa as well as basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing. The Boys of Bainbridge will provide music for the dance floor and announce Santa’s entrance.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Stone’s Buddies, a program for the Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo that provides resources, support, friendship, and fun for children with life-threatening illnesses. For those interested in donating, QCRG will also be accepting Stone’s Buddies wish list items during the event.

A Garrison Christmas

Join costumed interpreters/soldiers at Fort George for fire-side talks, games, refreshments and baked goods, tours and musket demonstrations.Fun for all ages!

Regency Christmas Celebration
When:December 15th 12:00 noon - 1600h Where: Fort George NHS
51 Queens Parade, Niagara on the Lake. Cost: $11.70/adult, $29.40/family(5 children) child 6 and under/ FREE.
Join costumed interpreters and musicians for fire-side stories, refreshments, baked goods, games, crafts and regency Christmas decorations, mini-militia, dress up area for last minute Christmas Card inserts, musket demonstrations and artillery demonstration.
New Years Eve in Niagara Falls
When:December 31st, 2012. Where: Queen Victoria Park and other locations throughout Niagara Falls. Cost: Free to attend!
In Niagara Falls there are a lot options on where to go for New Year's eve. The biggest celebration in the area, and in fact anywhere in Canada, is the live outdoor show in Queen Victoria Park. If you are looking to stay in the Falls during New Years Eve you may want to book your room early as they tend to fill up quickly.
