What's Going on in Niagara Falls during the month of June 2012
If you're going to be visiting Niagara Falls in the month of June you are going to be here at a great time of year. Not only is the weather in June beautiful but the events happening in June of this year are fantastic.
Some of these events include a Fathers Day, the longest day of the year (Summer Solstice), and a War of 1812 re-enactment to help mark the Bicentennial. See below for more details.
The 5th Annual Springlicious 2012
When: Friday June 1, 2012-Sunday June 3rd, 2012. 10am-? Where: : Downtown Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls Springlicious Event 2012 is the signature event of Downtown Niagara Falls on Queen Street. Springlicious is family fun weekend event that features food, wine, beer and non-stop entertainment. Stroll along from one block to another eating great food, shopping at vendor’s booths and watching the free entertainment. Come out and celebrate the warm weather and the sun. This is a community celebration where tourists get to see how we celebrate Niagara style!
Come join us in our new wine garden featuring local wineries.
Bring the kids and have some fun at our new carnival section.

9th Annual Spring-Fest

The Stevensville Kinettes, Kinsmen and Volunteer Firemen are having our 9th Annual Spring-Fest. We are a non profit organization, raising money for our community. Spring-Fest is held in Stevensville on Saturday June 2
We start the day off with a Pancake Breakfast at the Stevensville Firehall from 8:00am-10:00am. Immediately following the breakfast the festivities continue at the Stevensville Memorial Hall until 5:00pm.

Howie Mandel Live in Niagara Falls

Depending on what era you reflect on, Howie Mandel has been on television or stage, entertaining millions in one way or another for many years.
Howie's roots are as a stand up comedian but his first major role to get him recognized on tv was as Dr. Wayne Fiscus on the popular medical drama series St. Elsewhere. He then created the popular t.v. cartoon Bobby's World. Howie Mandel is more recently know for his work hosting Deal or No Deal, Howie Do IT and can now bee seen hosting the very popular America's Got Talent with co hosts Sharron Osborne and Howard Stern.

Niagara Falls Comic Con

Bringing the 2012 Niagara Falls Comic Con into the new Scotiabank Convention Centre now places the one day event to the forefront of popular events that the City has to offer. With more than 27 thousand square feet of the conference center dedicated to Comic Con, there is plenty of room for the event's vendors, artists and celebrities to really shine.
This years conference will have many popular celebrity guests including Burt Ward (Robin from the original Batman TV series), Robert Picardo (the doctor from Star Trek Voyager), and Dustin Diamond who played Screech on Saved by the Bell. Other celebs will include former pro wrestlers Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Brutis "The Barber Beefcake" and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine.
Horror film lovers are also in luck because director and screen writer John Russo of "Night of the Living Dead" fame will be there along with several stars from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" Along with other famous celebrities, famed artists and comic book and other related vendors, the original Batmobile and the Delorean from Back to the Future will be on display.

Bicentennial of the War of 1812: Grand Opening

Girl Scouts of Western NY 100th Anniversary Sing-Along “Rock the Falls Sing-a Long and Camping Spectacular” (US Event)

To help mark the 200th anniversary of the war of 1812, the Tragically Hip will be playing a music festival on the grounds of Butler's Barracks in the town of Niagara on the Lake. The show will also include the bands "Death Cab For Cutie", "The New Pornographers" and "The Rural Alberta Advantage".
