This year in Ontario, Spring Break falls on the week of March 12th to the 16th. Include the weekends on top of that and you've got yourself 9 days of good times.
In the US, Spring break can vary from starting as early as the 3rd of March or as late at the 24th. Many attractions and hotels in Niagara are aware of this and therefore have included specials that encompass this entire time period.

Niagara Falls on the Canadian side has kilometers of paved sidewalks running along the Niagara River giving visitors spectacular views the whole way along. View beautiful plants and wide range of tropical and exotic flowers grown and maintained by Niagara Parks. The Floral Showhouse is located just off the Niagara Parkway. These floral displays make a great backdrop for some family pictures. Also, be sure to listen for the songbirds also living on premises!
Explore the Niagara Glen
Why not pack up the family and go on an afternoon hike though the Niagara Glen Conservation Area . Observe hundreds of species of plants and animals while venturing through over 4km (2.5 miles) of maintained pathways. Since the weather is still a little cool however, dress in layers to be the most comfortable. Important Note -- the Niagara Glen is a Nature Reserve that contains wild flora and fauna (plants and animals). Please observe all posted regulations, stay on trails that are marked and follow generally accepted trail etiquette. Fires are not permitted. Take only photos, leave only footprints!
