Niagara Airports

Niagara Falls is conveniently located within a short driving distance of several Niagara Airports some of which are only minutes away from the Falls itself.

Note: There are new rules when flying to Canada from other countries around the world including the United States. For countries outside of North America travel document will include a passport, other Photo ID and travelers Visa. Check with the airline you are traveling with well in advance of your trip as to what specific identification you will need to travel to Canada.

For US Residents: As of June, 01. 2009. Everyone crossing the border into or out of Canada whether it be from plane, boat or car is required to show a passport before crossing.

Customs: There are limitations on what can be brought into Canada from other countries and while traveling by air. To save you and your family long delays at the customs desk and from possibly being turned around at the airport make sure you check with the Canadian Government Website to learn all you need to know before traveling.
The following airports listed below are the most used and easily accessible for people traveling to Niagara Falls Canada.

Buffalo Niagara International Airport: The BNIA is the closest international airport to Niagara Falls Canada and is popular with business professionals and tourists traveling to the Niagara Region. There are on average about 110 flights daily with many non-stop to 18 cities.

The Buffalo airport is located about 25 miles (40 km) from the Rainbow Bridge (U.S and Canadian border.) Niagara Falls Canada is on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. For more information about the Buffalo Niagara International Airport click here to visit their website.

Niagara District Airport: Located just twenty minutes outside the city of Niagara Falls, the Niagara District Airport is the the closest of the Niagara Airports and has a 5,000 foot runway, 24 hour customs clearance and NAV Canada on site.
