Looking to enjoy some Niagara Falls golf during your visit?
World famous as a golfing destination, the Niagara Region has almost 40 courses to choose from, all of which offer unique views of the region
and various playing difficulties so no matter what your handicap, there will be a golf course perfect for you.
Wheather its Niagara Falls golf or even golfing anywhere in the Niagara Region for that matter you will not only be playing on some of the most challenging courses in the world but will also be playing on courses with some serious history behind them. From North America’s oldest golf course in Niagara on the Lake, The Niagara On The Lake Golf Club, to one of the most challenging courses to be made, Thundering Waters, designed by Pro golfer John Daly.
From located so close to the Falls themselves that you can hear the roaring of the water as you play the courses to golf courses located right amongst the vineyards and on the property of a winery (Rockway Glen ) there is virtually no way not to find the perfect place to golf no matter what your taste in difficulty or scenery.
One of the best things about golfing in Niagara Falls is that most of the courses are open to the public or semi private so they make a great destination for the family that likes to golf together, business “meetings” with that all important client or even work retreats to help the office employees relax and enjoy a day of golf.
If you would rather just hit some balls at a local driving range there are several of them for you can choose from as well. Driving ranges are great if you are warming up for the new golf season, if you haven’t played for a while or even if you are someone who is interested in golf but not very confident in your swing, practice away with endless buckets of golf balls.
Maybe you’re looking for some “not so serious” fun with the family and friends so why not try out a few of the mini-put courses that are spread out around the main attractions of Niagara Falls. Most are within walking distance of many of the hotels and restaurants making them a preferred attraction while vacationing with the family.
