There are so many attractions in Niagara Falls that it is difficult for us to create a list that narrows them down to just our top 5.
tion that is most likely on the top of anybody’s list of Niagara Falls would be the actual Falls themselves. They are, after all, the main reason most people visit the city and the reason the city became a popular tourist attraction in the first place!
So, putting the waterfalls aside, we have chosen five of our favorite attractions in Niagara Falls that both thrill and leave us in aw of how great and fun this place really is.
The top 5 attractions list is just our favourites, of course you may have a different opinion because everyone has different likes. A golf enthusiast may choose some of the courses Niagara has to offer as part of their top five and someone into gaming may choose the casinos.
We have just stuck with more of the family friendly, enjoyable by everyone kind of attractions here.
Below you will find our list in no particular order. Check them out and see if you agree.
Whirlpool Jetboats
This one is among our top five because the boats they use are the only ones in the world built strong enough to handle the rapids of the Niagara River. This ride will take passengers through some crazy white water and give a person as close of a feeling as possible to how wild the river really is.
Niagara SkyWheel
The SkyWheel is great because, well, first of all its huge! You can see this thing for miles, you just can’t miss it. Then when you get on it and reach the top, the views are amazing and reach for many miles. This ride will give visitors to the Falls a deeper appreciation of the city and the natural wonder of the Falls themselves.
Maid of the Mist
Where else in the world can you get in a large boat and have it take you so close to one of the largest volume waterfalls that you could almost touch it? Where you could actually feel the rumble through your body, get soaked from mist and barely hear anything but the roaring thunder of millions of gallons of water?
Only the Maid of the Mist is where and thats why this tour made it to our top five.
Niagara Helicopters
You can find helicopter tours all over the world right? Of course you can, but you won’t find the kind of views that a tour over the Falls can offer you. Niagara Helicopter tours is an adventure in and of itself, taking visitors high above the city and straight above the river and falls for a one of a kind experience that will not soon be forgotten.
Marineland
Spend the day watching killer whales, seals and dolphins one hour and riding some of the most thrilling amusement park rides the next at Marineland.
This is a great place to take the family and spend the day. Marineland is just one more place that helps make Niagara Falls a great destination for your next vacation.
