By Train: Go Transit recently extended their train service to Niagara, making its final stop in Niagara Falls before heading back to Toronto. One reason for this is because people are allowed to bring their bike onto the train with them so commuting around town once you have arrived is more convenient than just having to walk or take public transit.
The Go Train schedule varies each year but there are several stops each day on weekends and holidays to choose from. The service is only available during the warmer months however, usually starting in mid Spring and ending early Fall.The travel time for the GO Train to Niagara Falls from Toronto is about two hours. Its longer than driving but this is due to the many stops the train makes along the way.
