Animal lovers will have a great time at the various Niagara Falls Zoos

Most people are interested in animals and love to view them in person when possible. Places like Niagara Falls Zoos are a great start.

The Niagara Falls region is full of wildlife and offers visitors to the area many opportunities to see anything from whales and other sea life to lions, tigers and various other exotic creatures.

Any visit to Niagara falls should include two things, a visit to see the mighty Niagara Falls themselves to witness the sheer power they produce and at least a short tour of some of the animal themed attractions available to anyone in the area.

Animal Lovers Theme

Marineland:
This is the place to visit when you and the family want to get a good combination of thrilling rides mixed in with great sea life entertainment shows. Marineland has a large assortment of Whales, dolphins, seals and many other sea life creatures to view and be entertained by.

Zoos Safari Niagara:
Like the name says you will feel like you are almost on safari here! Not just another zoo, Safari Niagara has interactive educational stations to help visitors learn about the wildlife as well as a large variety of creatures found throughout the world. Many people would never get a chance to see them in real life if it weren’t for places like Safari Niagara.

Bird Kingdom:
View more than 400 different tropical free flying birds as you explore this 15 thousand square foot facility. Voted #1 Niagara Falls attraction several years in a row, Bird Kingdom is a must see on any Falls visit.

Butterfly Conservatory:
Filled with thousands of colorful butterflies of different shapes and sizes, the butterfly conservatory will make any insect lover excited as the butterflies are free to fly around and even land on visitors as they walk through the tropical setting.

Happy Ralph's Petting Zoo:
This little bird sanctuary and petting zoo is located about ½ hr outside of Niagara Falls but is worth mentioning here because it allows people a chance to see some different livestock and birds such as goats, sheep, a cow, ducks, rabbits, geese, swans and many others. Visitors can purchase pellets to feed them right from their hands. The kids will love this!

Bird Watching:
A result of the many variations in Niagara’s landscape such as the cliffs of the Gorge, lots of wooded areas, grassy fields and massive amounts of water there are hundreds of species of birds that visit the Niagara Falls area each year.

This means great bird watching for anyone who is interested at any time of year.
