Another year ending and Canada’s largest outdoor New Years Eve party is preparing to be one of the best yet!
Queen Victoria Park located just steps from the Horseshoe Falls in Niagara Falls will be host to 20,000 party goers and over 1.5 million television viewers for a fantastic live concert to ring in the new year.
The large acts of the night will include performances from Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea and Scarborough native Kardinal Offishall.
The New Years celebrations will be televised on Global television from 10 pm but will actually start at 6:30 pm and will include music from Toronto band Running Red Lights as well as a comedy performance from Calwyn Shurgold.
The show will also feature winners from the Niagara Falls YouDiscover Talent competition and there will be two separate fireworks displays over the Falls. One at 9pm and another to ring in the new year at midnight.
The televised portion of the show will be hosted by Entertainment Tonight Canada’s hosts Cherl Hickey and Rick Campanelli.
Along with the live performances, Queen Victoria Park will have Food and beverage vendors on site as well as a licensed area for alcohol sales.
Parking will be limited and you may need to park a ways away and walk so dress warm! Bring a camera to capture all the action! With this years entertainment line-up, the event will be an exciting one you won't want to miss!
