With the American Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday, Border authorieties are asking travelers to and from the U.S. to have patience while waiting at the borders or better yet, plan on leaving extra time when making your travel plans for long border lines.
The reason for so much concern is due to the fact that on top of the normal Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping travelers entering the US, there will be additional travelers heading to New York City to see the Buffalo Bills game and even more travelers heading to Buffalo to catch the Sabres vs Capitals Hockey game.
The Borders coming into Canada are expected to have longer lines as well as Americans planning Canadian trips will be taking advantage of the 4 day weekend.
